    About the role#

    As the Campaign Fundraising Director for Student Visionaries of the Year, you will lead staff teams and manage relationships to drive fundraising revenue. You will work within a mission-centered organization to help secure resources for blood cancer research and patient support. This role requires a balance of high-level strategy and hands-on operational work.

    What you'll do#

    • Lead, hire, and develop peer to peer fundraising teams.
    • Create and execute annual strategic plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
    • Recruit and support high-level volunteer committees and leaders.
    • Partner with the Education Services and Health Research departments to communicate the organizational mission.
    • Organize local donor cultivation events and identify high-impact donors for national stewardship.
    • Retain and upgrade sponsorships for all fundraising products.
    • Teach, train, and consult both staff and volunteers to ensure success.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 7-8 years of relevant experience.
    • A proven track record of success in fundraising or business development.
    • Ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
    • Willingness to engage in the details of daily operations.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid position based in Los Angeles, California.
    • The work modality is hybrid.
    • You will need to travel locally up to 30% of the time.
    • The role requires availability to work some evenings or weekends.
