About the role#
The Crisis IHBT Intern provides intensive home-based treatment services to clients aged 5-18 and their families. You will carry a caseload and work as a member of the IHBT team under the direction of a supervisor. Services take place in homes and the community. This is a paid, part-time internship for Spring 2027 with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide intensive home-based treatment to clients, their families, and other involved parties.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for clients.
- Develop individual treatment plans focused on stabilizing the family unit and preventing crises.
- Provide 24/7 crisis coverage on a rotating schedule.
- Complete clinical records and documentation in a timely manner.
- Coordinate care with schools, social services, and the justice system.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and current enrollment as a second-year Master's student in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- A valid Ohio Trainee license.
- At least two semesters of clinical fieldwork or substantive professional clinical experience.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets agency insurance criteria.
