About the role#
The Tax Intern in Transfer Pricing works with a team of consulting economists. You will help multi-national companies price transactions between entities within their corporate group. This work helps companies comply with foreign and domestic tax regulations. The role requires strong analytical, writing, and editing skills.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews to gather information on corporate structure, functional responsibilities, and value drivers.
- Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark intercompany pricing policies.
- Perform financial analysis, including market penetration scenarios and intangible property valuations.
- Prepare project reports that document research, analysis, and consulting advice.
- Create presentations to share analysis results and recommendations with clients.
- Participate in meetings to pitch service capabilities to potential clients.
- Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos.
- Take interview notes and prepare summaries for team members.
- Proofread and edit reports before delivery.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to produce initial drafts of project deliverables independently.
- Experience with detailed reading, proofing, and editing technical material.
- Effective interpersonal skills with experience in presentations or public speaking.
- Ability to communicate directly with clients professionally.
- Solid organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of transfer pricing and a desire to learn more about the industry.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
