About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in New York. You will join a team focused on various tax specialty areas, including corporate taxation, mergers and acquisitions, accounting for income taxes, and private client services. This role provides exposure to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax planning and research projects.
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Gain understanding of tax regulations and relevant accounting pronouncements.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple tax specialty areas.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on a team and manage multiple tasks.
- You must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to client locations is required.
