About the role#
RSM US LLP is seeking an International Tax Intern to join the Mergers and Acquisitions practice for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with multinational corporations, private equity firms, and partnerships to advise on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, and executing transactions.
What you'll do#
- Deliver due diligence and tax structuring services.
- Communicate findings and opportunities to clients.
- Manage the international tax component of due diligence projects by participating in client calls and interviewing targets.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts with local country RSM teams.
- Assist with cross-border tax issues, including permanent establishment, corporate reorganizations, Section 367, Subpart F, and non-US tax matters.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting or a JD pursuing an accounting role.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to travel to client locations, including access to reliable transportation.
