About the role#
The ESOP Capital Advisors Intern supports the ESOP Advisory team. You will assist with data collection, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and project deliverables for ESOP feasibility and transaction projects. This role provides exposure to ESOP structuring, tax and accounting considerations, and transaction execution. You will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and industry research while working with experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Collect and organize data for ESOP feasibility and transaction projects.
- Support financial modeling assignments, including valuation and leveraged buy-out models.
- Conduct industry and company research to support project analysis and client deliverables.
- Prepare draft client deliverables, such as PowerPoint presentations and Confidential Information Memorandums.
- Assist with the development of marketing materials and internal documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Participate in meetings and communicate professionally with colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Completion of your junior year is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of basic accounting and valuation methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with clients.
- Solid analytical, research, and organizational skills.
- Prior internship or leadership experience is preferred.
