    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid summer position for the 2027 season. You will join the Agricultural Solutions team in Regina, Saskatchewan. Please note that you will be hired and employed through a third-party contracting agency. This role involves on-site work supporting local and global breeding programs to develop hybrids for growers.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in field trials and variety development activities from seeding through harvest.
    • Handle seed set up, land preparation, seeding, pest control, and pollination management.
    • Maintain research plots and assist with parental development.
    • Monitor crop health daily and collect research data.
    • Supervise casual employees as needed.
    • Work effectively both in a group setting and independently.

    What you'll need#

    • A degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field, either currently in progress or completed within the last two years.
    • An interest in canola development and the agriculture industry.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing plans.
    • A commitment to delivering results for both individual and team goals.
    • Previous experience with farm work or machinery is helpful but not required.

    • Location: Regina, Saskatchewan.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (4 to 6 months).
    • Pay: $25 to $32 per hour.
