About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers undergraduate students the chance to work alongside BASF research teams. You will contribute to real-world projects within the Agricultural Solutions division. The program focuses on building technical and professional skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. Please note that interns are employed through a third-party contracting agency.
What you'll do#
- Support research and development projects and field research activities.
- Assist with agricultural trials, including seed treatment, fungicide, and herbicide research.
- Collect, organize, and analyze trial data.
- Monitor trials, document observations, and provide feedback on results.
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and identifying potential process improvements.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and execution of field trials.
- Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and agronomists.
- Participate in research tours, demonstrations, and presentations.
What you'll need#
- You are a highly motivated undergraduate student.
- You are mobile-minded and willing to work in various locations across the United States.
- You are currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Positions are field-based and may be located in various areas throughout the United States, including the Raleigh, North Carolina area.
- This is a paid internship.
