About the role#
This summer internship program offers undergraduate students the chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering assignments. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support operations, technologies, and business needs. The program lasts 12 weeks and provides mentorship, feedback, and professional development. Interns are hired through a third-party contracting agency.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering projects and daily technical activities.
- Apply engineering principles to operational challenges and real-world projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze technical or operational data.
- Identify opportunities to improve process, productivity, quality, or efficiency.
- Assist with the development, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Support project planning, documentation, and technical reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in safety, operational, and project-related activities.
- Create presentations, recommendations, and other project deliverables.
- Build your technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student.
- Pursuit of a degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A highly motivated mindset and willingness to be mobile.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
