About the role#
The Grow@BASF Internship Program offers undergraduate students a chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering assignments. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support operations, processes, and technologies. This is a 12-week summer program where you will receive mentorship and professional development while building your technical and analytical skills. Interns are hired through a third-party contracting agency.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering projects and daily technical activities.
- Apply engineering principles to operational challenges and real-world projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze technical data.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, process, or efficiency.
- Assist with the development, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Support project planning, documentation, and technical reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engineers.
- Participate in safety, operational, and project-related tasks.
- Develop presentations, recommendations, and other project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student.
- Pursuit of a degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- High motivation and a mobile-minded approach to work.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Mobility: Assignments may be located at various sites throughout the United States, including the Raleigh, NC area.
