About the role#
As a Nurse Intern II, you provide technical assistance to a group of patients to help achieve quality care outcomes. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to support staff, patients, and guests. This is a full-time, paid position that serves as a transition for graduates awaiting licensure.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Help develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and support nursing staff with daily tasks.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and build your clinical leadership knowledge.
- Complete assigned goals and take part in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Ability to maintain this intern status for no longer than 90 days post-graduation.
- Basic computer literacy.
- BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
