About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting audit and assurance engagements. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to client work, build your understanding of various industries, and develop your technical accounting skills. This role is designed to help you explore a career in public accounting through structured training and active participation on engagement teams.
What you'll do#
- Support audit and assurance engagements by assisting with procedures such as testing account balances and transactions.
- Prepare workpapers that document procedures, evidence, and your conclusions.
- Use firm-approved audit and data analysis technologies to complete assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with engagement team members and clients to obtain information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client and firm information.
- Participate in training sessions and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Accounting or a related business discipline.
- At least one academic term remaining after your internship concludes.
- You must be on track to meet the educational requirements for CPA exam eligibility before starting a full-time Associate role.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in a hybrid work modality.
- Positions are available in Seattle and Bellingham, Washington.
- The internship term follows a rolling schedule.
