About the role#
This is a full-time Tax Intern position for Summer 2027 within our National Office, focusing on State and Local Tax. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside professionals at all levels. This internship provides exposure similar to our associate-level hires, including participation in interactive programming, trainings, and skill-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension prep, and projections.
- Research tax regulation changes and develop tax planning skills at the federal and state level.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support varying client engagements.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals on client projects through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses, self-guided learning, and on-the-job training.
- Work toward the completion of your CPA certification with support from the firm.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- A plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028 is preferred.
