About the role#
This summer internship provides an opportunity to work within our audit service line. You will support engagement teams by documenting audit procedures and ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule. You will also coordinate information flow between clients and our audit teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist engagement teams in documenting and executing audit procedures.
- Complete projects within established timelines and budget guidelines.
- Organize and manage the information stream from clients to the audit team.
- Identify and communicate potential audit issues to seniors, managers, or partners.
- Perform self-reviews of your work to ensure accuracy.
- Learn and use firm audit software to support client service.
- Participate in firm trainings, recruiting events, and team activities.
- Collaborate with your assigned buddy and performance manager to develop technical and soft skills.
What you'll need#
- On track to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or taxation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum overall and accounting GPAs of 3.0.
- Active membership in Beta Alpha Psi or another campus accounting organization.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from mid-June through mid-August 2027.
- Strong technical aptitude and effective communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative.
- High attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
