About the role#
HCVT is seeking an Audit Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This full-time, paid internship provides exposure to audit procedures and engagement management within an accounting firm environment. Interns work closely with engagement teams to support client service delivery and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Assist engagement teams in documenting and executing audit procedures.
- Complete assigned projects according to established timelines and budget guidelines.
- Organize and manage the information flow between clients and the audit team.
- Identify and communicate potential audit issues to the engagement team.
- Maintain professional standards while interacting with clients and firm staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in accounting or taxation, with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum overall and accounting GPA of 3.0.
- Active membership in Beta Alpha Psi or a similar campus accounting organization.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
