About the role#
HCVT is hiring for a Tax Internship for the Winter 2027 term. This position is based in Westlake Village, California, and operates under a hybrid work model. This is a paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Complete projects within engagement timelines and budget guidelines.
- Learn and use firm tax preparation software.
- Perform self-reviews of your work.
- Conduct tax technical research as assigned by supervisors.
What you'll need#
- You are on track to complete a bachelor or master degree in accounting or taxation between May 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum overall and accounting GPA of 3.0.
- Active membership in Beta Alpha Psi or another campus accounting organization.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative.
- High attention to detail.
