About the role#
HCVT is seeking an MBA intern to join the Technology and Transformation practice. This role supports strategic business transformation engagements for middle-market and private equity-backed clients. You will work alongside experienced consultants to assess business challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and develop recommendations for client initiatives. This position is open to MBA students with professional experience who want to apply their skills in a consulting environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze client operations, business processes, and technology environments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in client interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.
- Conduct research to evaluate solutions and support the development of recommendations.
- Assist in creating technology strategies, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Support ERP evaluations, system selection, and technology implementation tasks.
- Research opportunities for AI, automation, data analytics, and process optimization.
- Prepare client presentations, reports, and other deliverables.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to support project execution and monitor progress.
- Contribute to internal practice development, including research and proposal creation.
- Participate in professional development to strengthen consulting and technical skills.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in technology, transformation, management consulting, or a related business function.
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, technology implementations, or process improvement projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, data analytics, AI, or automation initiatives.
- Experience conducting business analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Relevant transferable experience and a demonstrated interest in transitioning into consulting.
