About the role#
This is a junior contributing role supporting Technical Directors, Technical Managers, and Senior Technical Leads on new-nuclear project deliverables. You will join a team of engineering and project personnel to assist with engineering, engineering administration, and project administration tasks. This is a full-time, paid position with a hybrid work modality.
What you'll do#
- Organize, host, and record minutes for meetings involving senior staff.
- Collect data and status updates to support regular schedule maintenance.
- Update project Key Performance Indexes.
- Maintain a log of project lessons learned.
- Perform minor document revisions and navigate administrative systems such as Proact and Mytrak.
- Conduct administrative or analytical reviews as directed.
- Complete self-study of quality procedures relevant to project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program in Engineering or Technology, with a preference for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering fields.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- A commitment to safety, integrity, and trust.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting construction, manufacturing, or engineering services projects is an asset.
- An appreciation for Quality Assurance Programs in the nuclear industry is an asset.
- Ability to obtain security clearance for CANDU Energy Inc. facilities.
Location & details#
- Locations: Mississauga, Ontario and Pickering, Ontario.
- Term: Rolling, with durations of 4, 8, 12, or 16 months available depending on your availability.
