About the role#
As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will support programs to ensure the success and timely delivery of satellite projects. This role spans the full project lifecycle, from small internal R&D efforts to complete multi-spacecraft missions. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for the Fall 2026 term, designed for students currently enrolled at a four-year university.
What you'll do#
- Support programmatics from concept to completion across various project scales.
- Manage risk processes, including encouraging the generation of risk documentation, tracking burndown plans, and coordinating risk closure approvals.
- Plan and organize internal program reviews, including trending schedules, risks, and key program requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop schedules for various subsystems and hardware components.
- Facilitate and streamline headcount tracking and forecasting.
What you'll need#
- A B.S. in aerospace engineering or an equivalent technical degree, such as physics or applied mathematics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across different tracks and groups.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, specifically with formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups, and data cleansing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and overcome obstacles with creative solutions.
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.
