About the role#
Starfish Space partners with the SkillBridge program to provide internship opportunities for service members. These internships are flexible regarding start dates and duration, offering exposure to satellite servicing missions, including life extension for geostationary satellites and disposal for low Earth orbit satellites.
What you'll do#
Interns support various engineering disciplines and business operations. Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to satellite servicing missions.
- Collaborating with team members on ongoing projects.
- Assisting with finance and accounting tasks.
- Supporting engineering teams in areas such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems engineering.
- Participating in business operations and development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident to comply with ITAR regulations.
- Relevant experience in engineering or business fields.
- A strong interest in satellite servicing.
- Ability to work in-person at the office.

- Location: Tukwila, Washington.
- Work Modality: Remote and Hybrid options available, though candidates should be prepared for in-person work.
