About the role#
The Enterprise Systems team builds the software and analytics tools necessary to take a satellite design from concept to space. As an intern, you will work on engineering projects that support the design, procurement, assembly, and testing of Astranis satellites. This is a full-time, hourly position based in San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and test software used for satellite hardware development and manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain internal applications to support test operations, production tracking, and scheduling.
- Support internal tools for hardware design and supply chain teams to improve operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Build automated workflows using orchestration tools to reduce manual tasks across teams.
- Contribute to data warehouse infrastructure, data ingestion pipelines, and business intelligence tooling to support analytics and AI workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Experience with Python.
- Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.
- Bonus points for experience with embedded systems, frontend development, or DevOps and internal tools.

- Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
