About the role#
The Enterprise Systems team builds the software and analytics tools required to design, procure, assemble, and test satellites. As an intern, you will work on meaningful projects that directly support the end-to-end engineering lifecycle. This is a full-time, paid, twelve-week internship designed for students currently enrolled at a four-year university.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, build, and test software used to manufacture and power satellite hardware.
- Develop and maintain internal applications for test operations, scheduling, and production tracking.
- Support tools used by hardware design and supply chain teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Build automated workflows using orchestration tools to reduce manual labor.
- Contribute to data warehouse infrastructure, data ingestion pipelines, and business intelligence tooling to support analytics and AI workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Experience with Python.
- Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.
- Bonus points for experience with embedded systems or frontend development.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.
