About the role#
Arcadis is hiring a Construction Engineering Intern to support infrastructure projects. You will work on-site in Los Angeles, California, and assist with the management of large construction and remediation projects. This role involves significant field presence and requires travel across the region.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day project management, planning, and field support.
- Manage and update construction schedules.
- Track field costs and material volumes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field reports.
- Conduct tailgate safety meetings and track safety performance.
- Communicate with clients and coordinate with subcontractors.
- Determine and communicate staffing needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related science discipline.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comfort working in a construction environment and a willingness to spend time in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Los Angeles, California.
- The internship follows a rolling term structure.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
