About the role#
This student worker position supports food service and catering operations on campus. You will assist with food preparation, maintain safety standards, and provide service to guests. This role is open to students across various majors, including Nutrition, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, and Operations Management.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to established standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations.
- Serve food while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating customer needs.
- Replenish food items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies.
- Maintain security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
