About the role#
This position is for a student worker at the Chick-fil-A location on the College of Charleston campus. This is a paid, full-time role with a rolling start date. We welcome students from majors including Business Administration, Nursing, and Civil Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations.
- Serve food to customers while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Replenish stock levels and ensure workstations are ready for service.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies.
What you'll need#
- Guest service skills.
- Ability to obtain food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or required personal protective equipment.
