About the role#
As a Student Manager in Nutrition, you will supervise and manage daily food operations at the Arizona State University Training Table. This role involves directing staff, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently. You will act as a mentor to other food service workers and help coordinate catering events.
What you'll do#
- Produce and maintain work schedules.
- Train and mentor other food service workers.
- Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
- Maintain a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes.
- Track catering events to confirm they are prepared and delivered on time.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student at the Aramark location.
- Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- Completion of a sanitation course before or during your first year.
