About the role#
As a Culinary Extern, you will support daily kitchen operations while gaining hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment. Under the guidance of our culinary leadership, you will learn professional kitchen standards, food preparation techniques, and the importance of teamwork. This role helps you build a strong foundation for a culinary career. The externship period is approximately 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation and daily kitchen tasks.
- Support mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared according to standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in all work areas.
- Follow standard recipes and assist with plating and presentation.
- Adhere to HACCP, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
- Support different kitchen sections and assist during events and service periods.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in culinary arts and hospitality.
- Culinary school enrollment or recent graduation is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Valid work authorization for the U.S.
