About the role#
This position offers students a chance to learn the operations of Aramark Higher Education. You will assist the leadership team with daily tasks, event production, and tactical initiatives. The role emphasizes management skills and requires adherence to all safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
What you'll do#
- Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing locations and running catering events.
- Recruit, interview, and hire student employees.
- Manage student schedules, track attendance, and ensure shifts are fully covered.
- Oversee student performance and ensure all assigned duties are completed during shift hours.
- Communicate operational issues to your supervisor.
- Interact with customers to improve their on-campus experience.
What you'll need#
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at Arizona State University with sophomore standing or higher.
- Availability to work 20 hours per week, including weekends.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
