About the role#
The Operations Intern supports the COO and the VP of Operations across all Gracious Hospitality Management properties and projects. You will act as a bridge between the corporate operations team and various departments, including Culinary, Marketing, Events, and Beverage. This role involves a mix of administrative support, operational analysis, and on-site assistance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with restaurant operations, market research, and operational analysis.
- Liaise between corporate departments and individual property teams.
- Attend meetings and record minutes.
- Type, format, and edit reports, documents, and presentations.
- Maintain databases, enter data, and keep accurate records.
- Schedule appointments, manage event calendars, and send reminders.
- Support service at restaurant locations as assigned.
- Assist with company communication and marketing campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Extensive experience creating documents and spreadsheets.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate information effectively in writing and visually.
- Advanced typing, note-taking, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing correspondence.
- Familiarity with the GHM brand, culture, and product.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Operations Management.
