About the role#
This is a 12-week, full-time paid internship at Nemacolin. You will gain hands-on experience across two Pete Dye-designed golf courses and a golf academy. You will work alongside golf professionals to learn the daily rhythms of a luxury resort operation. The role requires completing an experiential project that connects your academic goals with real-world work.
What you'll do#
- Welcome guests and provide personalized service.
- Organize tee sheets and manage guest requests.
- Stage the golf cart fleet and maintain the driving range.
- Monitor pace of play on the course.
- Support tournament setup and weekly group lessons.
- Write daily recaps to track operational performance.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment as an upperclassman or recent graduation from a bachelor's degree program in hospitality, sports management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience with and knowledge of golf.
- Fluent English language proficiency.
- Continuous authorization to work in the United States.
- Availability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support peak seasonal operations.
