About the role#
The Student Catering Services Worker assists the event operations team with catering orders and events at La Salle University. This role involves physical work such as lifting, bending, and extended periods of walking or standing. You will work on-site during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Set up chairs, tables, and buffet lines based on event orders.
- Transport food, beverages, and equipment to event locations.
- Replenish food and beverage items throughout the event.
- Maintain clean and organized service areas.
- Break down equipment and clean the space once the event concludes.
- Provide customer service to guests.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current La Salle student.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Willingness to follow the required dress code and wear uniforms or PPE.
- Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training.
- Previous catering experience is preferred.
- Availability to work event-based hours.
