About the role#
This position is a student worker role focused on food services and catering operations on campus. You will gain experience in food preparation, safety standards, and customer service while working with our team.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Set up, break down, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure their needs are met.
- Replenish food items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all company safety policies and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or Human Resources.
- Ability to obtain food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
