About the role#
Genesis Hospitality is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team in Hamilton. This is an on-site, full-time, unpaid internship. You must be a current student at an accredited college and this position must be accepted for academic credit. Please verify with your school's internship coordinator before accepting an offer.
What you'll do#
You will help build our brand and grow our community through creative messaging. Your daily tasks include:
- Creating and scheduling content for our social media channels.
- Supporting campaign planning for both job seekers and employers.
- Drafting marketing copy for blogs, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Researching market trends and identifying new opportunities.
- Brainstorming and executing new ideas with the team.
- Tracking performance metrics to suggest improvements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college as a Marketing, Communications, or similar major.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in storytelling, social media, and creative marketing.
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools like Canva.
- A curious mindset and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Experience with short-form video content for platforms like Reels or TikTok is a plus.
Location & details#
This is an on-site role based in Hamilton, New Jersey. You are expected to report to the office every workday.
