About the role#
As a Marketing and Membership Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and private club operations. You will work alongside our team to support member engagement and Club growth. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Create, edit, and publish content for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Engage with our online member community by responding to comments and requests.
- Assist with the creative vision for photo shoots and video edits, including writing scripts and building shot lists.
- Capture photos and videos at social events and produce short video clips for immediate use.
- Ensure all marketing materials follow the Club branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote Club activities and events.
- Develop marketing collateral, presentations, and project updates.
- Support the creation of sales packets and assist with Member Services, including phone support and guest inquiries.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic arts, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of comparable experience.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and platforms.
- Ability to work independently with guidance.
- Detail-oriented approach to juggling multiple projects.
- Enthusiasm for hospitality and lifestyle marketing.
- Previous experience in hospitality or private clubs and coursework in photography or videography are preferred.

- Location: Bay Harbor, Michigan.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), including weekends and holidays.
- Term: Summer 2027.
