About the role#
The Events Intern works with the Events Coordinator and the Hospitality Department to manage events from start to finish. This role provides hands-on experience in logistics, operations, and cross-department collaboration. You will gain practical knowledge of how events move from initial concepts to final execution.
What you'll do#
- Assist with event planning, coordination, and on-site execution.
- Handle event setup, service, breakdown, and clean-up.
- Apply standard operating procedures during all stages of an event.
- Draft and manage event-related communications.
- Prepare meeting agendas, background materials, and necessary documents.
- Collect and organize materials for upcoming meetings and events.
- Create post-event reports and evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Hospitality, Marketing, and Creative teams.
- Participate in team meetings and support departmental projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
- A positive attitude and a focus on teamwork.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
