About the role#
ANDRITZ Canada is looking for a student to join our Hydro Services Engineering team in Pointe-Claire. This role supports the commercial and technical side of our hydro projects, helping us manage the lifecycle of hydroelectric installations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to prepare service offers, analyze client needs, and contribute to the modernization of energy infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Gather technical data, costs, and schedules to prepare service offers for maintenance and modernization projects.
- Analyze client needs by reviewing equipment history, performance reports, and support requests.
- Draft commercial proposals, client presentations, and follow-up documentation.
- Research market trends regarding existing hydroelectric plants and upcoming tender opportunities.
- Support the team with CRM management, including updating contacts and tracking project opportunities.
- Prepare technical summaries, cost analyses, and comparative tables for account managers.
- Attend internal and external meetings to observe technical and commercial discussions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in your 2nd or 3rd year of a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program.
- Strong motivation and the ability to work with initiative and autonomy.
- Mechanical aptitude, including 3D perception, understanding of mechanical linkages, and practical application skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and professional ease in interpersonal relations.
- Bilingualism.
- Legal status to work in Canada.
