About the role#
Weber Manufacturing Technologies Inc. is offering a co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our facility in Midland, Ontario. This role provides hands-on experience in precision manufacturing through rotations across our various departments. You will work alongside technicians and engineers to gain practical skills that complement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Assist with CNC machining processes, including setup, operation, and quality control checks.
- Support mould-making activities by learning about design, fabrication, and maintenance.
- Participate in Millwright tasks to gain insight into machinery assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with experienced staff on various projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and keep your workspace organized.
- Document your processes and help with continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Technology program.
- A strong interest in precision manufacturing and hands-on work.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
- An eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- A basic understanding of machining principles and tools is helpful but not required.
