About the role#
This co-op position supports the Accessibility Office at Amtrak. You will help advance programs and policies that ensure equal access to services for people with disabilities. This role involves analyzing data to find improvements, creating technical guidance, and assisting with communication materials.
What you'll do#
- Support accessibility initiatives and program planning.
- Analyze data from internal sources to identify areas for improvement.
- Review customer service complaints to find root causes.
- Examine station on-time performance data.
- Communicate your analysis results to the team.
- Travel to stations to observe customer interactions with employees.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- At least 3 years of academic undergraduate studies completed or senior status.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Understanding of database technology principles.
- Ability to assess disparate situations and communicate findings effectively.
