About the role#
This internship is a 10-week opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical industry. You will work alongside Information Technology teams on technical projects, contributing to real-world assignments that support our business operations. The program focuses on building both technical and professional skills through project work, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with IT teams on technical projects and coding assignments.
- Edit, modify, and debug software modules based on architecture specifications.
- Build dashboards and reports to provide insights for business stakeholders.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss tasks and team progress.
- Assist with software testing and documentation.
- Learn and use various software development tools.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic experience with databases and SQL.
- Experience with UI web technologies, specifically Angular (including CLI, components, services, and routing).
- Expertise in Bootstrap 3 or 4, including responsive and mobile-first design.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
- Understanding of front-end principles, asynchronous programming, AJAX, and RESTful API integration.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
