About the role#
As a Business Analytics Intern, you will join the InSite Data Solutions Team to support the Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform modernization initiative. You will work on redesigning products and creating enhancement features for internal and customer-facing tools. This role involves contributing to a scalable, self-service delivery framework and advancing the team's continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to generate insights.
- Design and build dashboards using business intelligence tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on your analysis.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and answer business questions through data mining and modeling.
- Document your processes, methodologies, and findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in a bachelor's program for Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred.
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.
- Interest in dashboard and product design principles, including user experience, is a plus.
