About the role#
American Structurepoint is seeking a Civil Site Engineering Co-op to join the team in Indianapolis, Indiana, for the Fall 2026 term. This full-time, paid position provides hands-on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You will work alongside licensed engineers to contribute to the design and development of land development projects, such as industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban re-development, and affordable housing.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with Project Managers and Team Leaders on various land development projects.
- Gain experience in drafting, plan production, design, field inspections, cost estimation, and coordination.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Excel to create and refine construction plans.
- Perform engineering calculations and assist with permit applications and technical specification preparation.
- Develop exhibits, design drawings, and presentation materials.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey, Structural Engineering, or a related program with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and try new things.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office location.
