About the role#
American Structurepoint is seeking a Civil Site Engineering Co-op for the fall 2026 term in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a full-time, paid position running from August 10, 2026, through December 18, 2026. You will work on-site alongside licensed engineers, project managers, and team leaders to support land development projects including residential, industrial, mixed-use, and urban redevelopment sites.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams on site design tasks such as grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management.
- Learn the fundamentals of drafting, plan production, design, field inspections, cost estimation, and project coordination.
- Use AutoCAD and HydroCAD to create and refine construction plans.
- Perform engineering calculations and assist with the preparation of permit applications and technical specifications.
- Develop design drawings, exhibits, and presentation materials.
- Take on other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey, Structural Engineering, or a related field with a civil emphasis.
- Reliable transportation for daily travel to the office.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.
