About the role#
This internship provides a summer of project work, professional connections, and leadership exposure. You will gain corporate experience while working in departments such as Principle Based Reserving, Actuarial Assumptions Management, or Transformation and Quality Assurance. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to August 6, 2027, with an optional extension until August 13.
What you'll do#
- Complete role-related project work.
- Participate in intentional learning and business education sessions.
- Build professional relationships across the company.
- Gain exposure to leadership.
- Utilize technical tools including GGY AXIS, Excel, R, Power Query, Python, VS Code, and Power BI.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior standing or higher (May 2027 graduates are welcome).
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- At least one SOA exam passed.
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivation with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas.
