About the role#
This summer internship offers students professional experience within the actuarial department. You will work on projects related to Annuity and Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) valuation. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to August 6, 2027, with an optional extension available until August 13. This is a full-time, paid position requiring 37.5 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Annuity and PRT valuation tasks.
- Use PRT and SPIA tools to support technical work.
- Complete role-related projects.
- Participate in business education and intentional learning sessions.
- Build relationships and gain leadership exposure across the company.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior standing or higher.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam.
- Coursework in mathematics or other quantitative fields.
- Programming experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in League City, Texas.
- Candidates must be able to work the full-time schedule Monday through Friday.
