About the role#
This internship offers a summer of project work and professional development within the Pension Risk Transfer team. You will gain exposure to the actuarial, financial, and operational tasks involved in the pricing process. The program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 6, 2027, with an optional extension until August 13.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Pension Risk Transfer pricing projects.
- Develop your actuarial and business skills.
- Gain a technical understanding of the pricing process for submitted premiums.
- Utilize tools including Excel, VBA, Python, PowerPoint, and SQL.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior standing or higher. May 2027 graduates are welcome to apply.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of actuarial coursework in probability, statistics, life contingencies, or financial math.
- Proficiency in Excel and coding.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
