About the role#
This is a paid internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Lake Forest, Illinois, gaining hands-on experience in a pharmacy setting. This position is open to students pursuing degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration. Sponsorship for F-1, OPT, H-1B, and TN visas may be available.
What you'll do#
- Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Manage the prescription filling process while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, MTM, and point of care testing.
- Implement company initiatives to support pharmacy profitability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by the state of employment.
- The ability to adapt to changes in schedule specifications and work priorities.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a team.
