About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student Intern to join our team in Sherwood, Oregon. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process prescriptions in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals regarding drug therapy and prescription information.
- Contribute to company initiatives focused on pharmacy profitability.
- Participate in clinical services, including patient counseling and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work priorities.
