About the role#
This is a pharmacy internship opportunity for students currently enrolled in a professional pharmacy program. You will work in a retail pharmacy setting to gain practical skills while supporting patient care. This role is on-site and offers a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Perform duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health products.
- Implement company initiatives to help increase pharmacy profitability.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in schedule and work priorities.
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
