About the role#
AJM Packaging Corporation is hiring an Operations Intern to work in our Southgate, Michigan manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role that follows a rolling term. You will gain experience across various operational areas while working in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn and perform all functions related to the engineering operations of the facility.
- Participate in a project-based program focused on machine rebuilds and project engineering.
- Shadow employees to understand different roles.
- Perform specific tasks ranging from production line work and machine maintenance to scheduling.
- Work directly with machinery and contribute to process improvement.
- Take ownership of assigned special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
