About the role#
AJM Packaging Corporation is hiring Engineering Interns for our Detroit facility. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will work directly with our engineering and operations teams to learn how our production facilities function.
What you'll do#
You will participate in a project-based program designed to build your knowledge of machine rebuilds and project engineering. Your day-to-day work will vary. You might shadow experienced employees, assist with production line tasks, perform machine maintenance, or help with scheduling. You will work directly with machinery and contribute to process improvement efforts. You will also take ownership of special projects as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing Technology.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
