About the role#
AJM Packaging Corporation is hiring an Operations Intern for our facility in Taylor, Michigan. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role. You will gain experience across various engineering functions within our manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
You will work in a hands-on capacity to learn and perform functions related to the engineering operations of our manufacturing facility. Your work will include:
- Participating in a project-based program focused on machine rebuilds and project engineering.
- Shadowing employees and performing specific tasks ranging from production line work to machine maintenance and scheduling.
- Working directly with machinery and process improvement initiatives.
- Taking ownership of special projects assigned by the Director of Manufacturing Technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field at an accredited university.
