    About the role#

    Airbus is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Intern to join the team in Mobile, Alabama. This role supports the launch and industrialization of production lines. You will work alongside industrial engineers to implement best practices, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure efficient operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop rework instructions to address non-conformities that deviate from the design dossier.
    • Coordinate with MAP and Design Office engineers to support necessary repairs.
    • Lead and support projects aimed at enhancing production productivity and process improvements.
    • Maintain and update processes from a technical standpoint to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Work with industrial engineers to implement best practices and troubleshoot technical issues.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Sophomore standing or higher.
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and design dossiers.
    • Familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Location: Mobile, Alabama.
    • Modality: 100% On-site.
    • Employment: Full-time internship.
    • Compensation: Paid position.
    • Note: Candidates must be able to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
